2 cups flour

Sift flour into a mixing bowl; rub in butter; stir in salt, sugar and

leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until
doubled in size.
Meanwhile, prepare filling.
In a large frying pan, melt butter; sauté onion until soft.

Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until crisp and golden.
