Ingredients:
10 oz Vignerons, freshly grated
3 tbsp finely diced onion
30 oz shortcrust pastry
2 large eggs
4 dstsp flour
150 ml cream
150 ml milk
Salt and Pepper
Optional spices:(1/2 tsp) Anise, basil, coriander seeds
Directions:
Spread Pastry in pre-greased baking tin. Pierce in a few places with fork. Caremilze chopped onions in oil-free pan over low heat. Add fresh ground black pepper to onions and allow to cool.
Spread grated Vignerons and onions over tin. Blend eggs, cream, milk, flour and spices and pour over cheese and bake for approx 20-25 minutes at 375, or until golden brown. Serve immediatly with simple salad or baked potato and chive.
