4oz bacon, cut into strips
2 onions, finely chopped
2 cubes of meat stock/ bouillon
1500 ml water
3 tbsp. white flour, blended into an even paste with a little water
5oz Ski Queen
10oz meatballs or hotdog cubes
2 carrots chopped into cubes
8oz broccoli chopped into cubes
100 ml cream
Salt and pepper
Melt a little butter in a pan, and quickly fry the onions and bacon. Add water and the stock/ bouillon cubes and let everything come to the boil. Stir the flour into the soup when it comes to the boil. Slice the Ski Queen and allow it to melt into the soup. Add meatballs/ hotdog cubes, carrots, and broccoli and then turn down the heat. Allow the soup to simmer for 10 minutes. Add cream, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the soup with whole grain or coarse bread.
