Ingredients:
12 slices bread
2 teaspoons New England Cranberry Mustard
Sliced roast turkey or chicken
Sliced provolone or your favorite cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk (optional)
Thinly sliced red onion (optional)
Ground pepper (preferably white)
Butter
New England Cranberry Cranberries and Orange Slices or
New England Cranberry Chutney
Directions:
Spread New England Cranberry Mustard on inside of bread and make a sandwich with turkey and cheese. Set aside. In small bowl, whisk together egg, milk and pepper. Brush both sides of sandwich with egg mixture. Heat large griddle or sauté pan and melt butter. Put sandwiches on griddle and cook on both sides until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes. (Also look for cheese melting.)
Serve immediately with New England Cranberry Cranberries and Orange Slices or New England Cranberry Chutney.
