8 corn tortillas, cut in 1 inch strips
1/4 cup oil
16 oz. picante sauce
1 small onion, chopped
1-1/2 cups shredded Asadero
1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Heat oil in large skillet.
2. Cook tortillas until crisp and golden brown.
3. Drain on paper towels.
4. Arrange tortillas on sides and bottom of a shallow baking dish.
5. Add 1 cup of the sauce, then sprinkle onion, remaining sauce and lastly the cheese.
6. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through.
