Ingredients:
3/4 pound salmon fillet
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons Maple Flakes, separated
2 tablespoons mirin (rice wine) or dry sherry
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon wasabi
Directions:
Cut salmon fillet crosswise into 1-inch strips. Dissolve 1 tablespoon maple flakes in 2 tablespoons water. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Arrange salmon skin side down in a broiling pan and brush with sauce. Cook 2 minutes, brush again, and sprinkle remaining maple flakes over salmon. Cook salmon about 10 minutes total or until fish is just flaky.
