2 cups mushrooms (button or crimini), quartered
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 10-oz block paneer*, cubed
1 15-oz container Maya Kaimal Tikka Masala
¼ cup cilantro leaves (optional)
1. In a medium sauce pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for about 3 minutes.
2. When mushrooms begin to soften, add paneer and Tikka Masala sauce. Cover and turn heat to low. Let simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
3. Garnish with cilantro and serve warm over rice.
*A hard, Indian cow’s milk cheese sold at Indian markets or specialty and natural foods retailers.
