1 lb box ziti (or your favorite tube shaped pasta)
1 large jar pasta sauce
1 lb mozzarella, asiago pressato, or trugole, shredded
8-12 oz smoked sausage or kielbasi, chopped thickly
2 tablespoons capers
1/4 grated parmigiano reggiano
Preheat oven to 350 F. Boil pasta and cook to boxes directions, but just slightly more "al dente" than usual. This is because the pasta will continue to cook in the oven.
Mix ingredients together (except parm) until well combined. Pour into baking dish and sprinkle grated parm on top. Bake for 30 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for another 30 minutes to get the top crispy.
