½ pound uncured pork belly, sliced thinly into 1/4 inches
3 tablespoon Gochujang Sesame 02 or Garlic 03
1 tablespoon Gochujang paste 00 (optional, depending on your taste)
1/4 cup yellow onions, halved and sliced
1/4 cup carrots, halved and cut diagonally in 1/8 inches (optional)
½ stalk green onions, chopped green part only
red or green leaf lettuce
Mix pork belly with Gochujang sauce(s) in a bowl until well combined using your hands to ensure the marinade is absorbed into the meat. Let it stand about 15 minutes for flavors to combine or marinade for 4 hours if time allows.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the marinated pork on the hot pan so it sizzles. You want a bit a of charred smoky flavors of the thinly sliced pork belly. After about 8-10 minutes, add onion, carrots (if using) and continue to cook for another 5-6 minutes until both onions are caramelized and carrots are cooked through. Add chopped green onions to finish.
Serve alongside lettuce leaves to make wraps with additional sauces on the side.
