Il Forteto
Il Forteto was established in 1977 by a mixed group of young students, workers, and teachers trying to realize their idea of life. They recuperated an abandoned agricultural farm located close to Florence, restored the home, and cultivated the land. Today they produce exceptional cheeses, olive oil, honey, and preserves, all drawing from past generations of Tuscany's culinary heritage.
