Amedei chocolate is crafted in Pontedera, Tuscany by Cecilia Tessieri, the first female maître (master) chocolatier in the world. Her chocolate is known and loved worldwide for its smooth texture and full-bodied flavor. Tessieri uses white chocolate to highlight the inherent sweet and salty flavors of in-house air-roasted pistachios from Bronte, Sicily. These green gems are cultivated on the slopes of Mount Etna where the trees are continuously fertilized by volcanic ash, hence its unique and unrivaled taste. Also know as oro verde della Sicilia (green gold of Sicily), these truly special crunchy pistachios shine in a beautifully balanced Tuscan chocolate bar.
