England is a land well suited to dairy farming. Its territory is relatively flat, thus good for grazing, and it has plenty of rainfall. This country produces over 500 distinct types of cheese, including the four we are featuring in this English Cheese Assortment.
  • Authentic British Cheddar: Arguably the world's most famous cheese name, Cheddar is an authentic British cheese that has been copied all over the world. If you have never tasted authentic British Cheddar, you are in for a wonderful surprise. (1/2 lb )
  • Royal Blue Stilton: How could such an assortment not include England's beloved blue cheese? Creamy, tangy and eminently satisfying, our Royal Blue Stilton is perfect as a snacking cheese or as an ingredient. (1/2 lb )
  • Sage Derby: Don't be afraid of the green! Pulverized sage leaves are mixed with water then added to the curd of Derby cheese to create this striking example of English cheesemaking ingenuity. A mild and herbaceous cow's milk cheese, Sage Derby is the ultimate party cheese. (1/2 lb )
  • Cotswold: Also known as "Pub Cheese," Cotswold is the name given to this hearty cheese that combines orange Double Gloucester cheese with flavorful bits of chive and onion. A harmonious blend of mellow, crumbly cheese and powerful vegetables, Cotswold is a terrific complement to the softer, more mild flavors on your cheese board. (1/2 lb )
Please note that any item temporarily out of stock will be substituted with a similar item of equal value.

What’s the best way to store my cheese?
The best way to keep cheese fresh is to store it in the vegetable crisper in your fridge. Before doing so, wrap in parchment or wax paper, then wrap loosely in plastic wrap. You can also buy our exclusive cheese storage bags, specially created to keep your cheese fresher, longer.

Unless used for cooking, we don’t recommend storing cheese in the freezer as this will alter its texture.

What is the best temperature to serve my cheese?
Remove cheese from the fridge an hour before serving, as cheese is best experienced at room temperature to enjoy the full spectrum of flavors.

How long will my cheese stay fresh in the refrigerator?
The length of time cheeses last in the fridge after opening depends largely on the type of cheese. Soft varieties tend to spoil more quickly than hard varieties. Please refer to the table below for a convenient reference:

How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.
