Beware cheese purists! This assortment is a selection of three cheeses flavored by ingredients such as fruit and liqueur. Excellent when served as part of brunch or dessert, these creations add a whole new dimension to the world of cheese; a food category that is most often associated with savory flavors like Cheddar and Swiss. This assortment includes:
- Cranberry Cinnamon Chevre: Creamy and rich, as a goat cheese should be, Cranberry Cinnamon Chevre is firm enough to slice but creamy enough to spread. Spread it on a bagel or toast.
- VODCheese Currant: Imported from Sweden, this product combines two of Sweden's most successful tastes - Absolut Vodka Kurant and aged Prästost. The combination of the slightly sharp cheese and the berry-sweet vodka is charming and addictive.
- Whilte Stilton with Mango & Ginger: The expert cheesemakers at Long Clawson have added exactly the right amount of mango and ginger to their White Stilton such that the cheese is not overly sweet. It almost tastes like cheesecake without the crust!

Badly Named Assortment - Not All Sweet

Two of the three cheeses in the sweet cheese assortment are sweet. The VOD Cheese is not at all sweet. Whoever put these together and named the package didn't taste the cheeses. They definitely don't work together.
None of the cheeses are bad, I love two of them (see their individual reviews) but you should know that you're not getting an assortment of sweet cheeses or even cheeses that work together -- the VOD cheese really tastes bad next to the others but is fine on its own.
