Located in: Cheese, ALL Cheddars
Neighborly Farms of Vermont produces ten kinds of delicious organic cheeses. All are made with wholesome milk from their forty-eight, well-cared for Holstein cows. At the family farm cheese is made the old-fashioned way, by caring for the land and surroundings which in turn contributes to producing the finest cheeses possible. Try one of these two delicious flavors:

Green Onion Cheddar is made with 20 fresh bunches of green onions purchased from the Randolph Cooperative Market daily. The rest of the day's preparation is spent finely chopping the onions and sprinkling them into the cheese late in the process. The onion flavor permeates the whole cheese. Green onion cheddar was a winner in the 2005 and 2006 American Cheese Society competition. You'll enjoy this as a delicious snacking cheese, or melted over a potato gratin.

Tomato and Basil has a very sweet tomato flavor, which is accented by the herbal sweetness of basil, making it one of the more popular snacking cheddars from Neighborly Farms. Serve with some mini toasts or crackers and a glass of red wine as a simple end of the day refreshment.

I am sorry to say that this was the least favorite product I ordered----didn't even want to cook with it for fear to ruin a good dish!
