My wife and I were in Appenzell, Switzerland a couple of years ago, and sampled the cheeses and fondue there many times - in our opinion, the best cheese in the world - the fondue in the package is excellent and easy to prepare - just cut up a loaf of fresh baked bread in cubes, and dip away.

We have this fondue every Chritmas Eve. I get the small bottle of kirschwasswer ("kirsch) at the liquor store in liquors section, Makes for a wonderful bite for the fondue. Can't do better than cheese from the Swiss Alps

this fondue is great. my dad used to get this fondue by the case when i was a freshman in high school. now i am a sophmore in college, and to have this fondue again, made me forget how great it is. the taste is so addicting, and i will definately buy it again

The taste is good but this fondue contains too much alcohol, so don't let your kids try it. It's a heavy meal but quick, easy to prepare and fun to eat. We always add garlic to spice it up a little and it is very important to accompany it with a freshly baked crusty european bread (Bauernbrot).
