Located in: Cheese, ALL Goat
From the same maker as the much raved about Cranberry Chevre and Blueberry Chevre comes this Fig Chevre from Canada. Unlike the former two, which had their fruit pressed into the rind, Fig Chevre has pureed figs mixed throughout its creamy, tangy interior. The flavor of fresh goat cheese has long been paired with the almost molasses-like sweetness of figs. This chevre roll is the perfect way to enjoy this combination during any season!
  • Suitable for vegetarians.
  • Made from goat's milk.
  • Photo depicts whole 4.5 ounce form of cheese.

Comments about Fig Chevre:

I used this product simply on crackers most often, with a glass of a sweet white wine. But I have used it on a grilled sandwich, in a salad and with other fruit. Simply stated, it goes with almost everything. You will never be displeased with anything you serve if you serve it with this goat cheese with figs. Heavenly.

This was given to me as a birthday gift. I cannot think of anything that was not great about it. All the cheeses included in the gift were very good. My favorites were the goat cheese with fig and the harvarti with garlic.

All I can say is that this is the equivalent of candy cheese. It's delicious, and was wolfed down very rapidly.

Comments about Fig Chevre:

This cheese had a wonderful flavor, it didn't make it to a variety of uses because it was consumed entirely immediately on crackers when we'd intended to have only a sample. My only complaint would be that I did not order more...you can be assured I will have a generous order of this cheese coming!
