Robert F. Hart began making this fine Canadian cheddar in 1933. Today, Black Diamond is probably Canada's most well-known cheddar. The "Grand Reserve" signifies that this cheddar is aged a minimum of two years. Made from raw milk, this white cheddar encased in black wax has a sharp, robust, tangy flavor.

Made from unpasteurized cow's milk.
Suitable for Vegetarians.

We've ordered this cheese twice and will definitely get it again. It melts well in sandwiches & in cheddar/beer soup. We use it as a snack on crackers and also shredded on salad.

This is an unusual cheddar. Not at all sharp as advertised, but certainly not bland. It has a complex, somewhat foul taste, which I like never expected in a cheddar.

This is a nice sharp cheddar as it is. I had it in a salad which worked out great. However it is BAD melted tastes way too salty for melting. My finicky twin boys liked these cheese.
