First time tasting any quince product and didn't know what to expect. Absolutely delightful and unusual flavor - a mix of apricot, apple and pear. Consistency is more solid than paste, even when allowed to warm up to room temperature. Delicious spread on French bread slices alone or mixed with milder cheeses like a quality Brie. Will definitely keep this on hand!
I tasted quince paste for the first time at a party and loved it. I found it [...] and am recommending it to all! It's my new favorite taste! I use it on crackers with brie and melon.
I had this quince paste at a winery in Napa and was more impressed with the paste than the wine! I love it with cheese. A bit too intense for breakfast in my opinion. A little goes a long way...
It ships chilled, but refrigeration is only necessary after opening. And you should note that the package is plastic and NOT re-sealable. You will have to transfer to a sealed container if you want to store.
Really great paired with manchego cheese. I liked it best mixed with cheese, almonds, and topped on a cracker. Good stuff!
Great addition to my paella party. All my friends loved it, especially when paired with manchego cheese. I'm still finding uses for it.
