Comments about Danish Lurpak Butter:

I first tried this butter when I was working in northern Greenland over 20 years ago.The Danish cooks used it for everything from table butter and cooking to their pastries (addicting!). I saw it here and laid in a good supply immediately. It's just as good as I remember. Nothing I've tried in the states comes close to Lurpak.

Comments about Danish Lurpak Butter:

So relieved to finally find Lurpak. I first used it while overseas at a military base. They had it at the Commissary, bought it on a whim, I really lucked out! You can taste the lack of processing, what I imagine freshly churned butter to taste like. From the most sophisticated palette to a family table, this has no comparison.

[...] I discovered Lurpak when I was in England for the first time in 1998, and it has been far and away the most delicious butter I've ever tasted. Horribly expensive, but worth the money now and then.

Comments about Danish Lurpak Butter:

I use very little butter in general, so the gourmet quality and richness of the product is a real treat. Well worth it on your morning toast or muffin. I also like the fact this is a natural product with no chemicals or additives.

I bought this for my senior citizen Mom. She stated that during WW2, In Puerto Rico, they bought that butter and she would never forget the taste. Having been a twice cancer survivor as well as a survivor of the World War, you made her very happy and for that I thank you. It was a total and joyous surprise for her.

I grew up in England where I ate this on my toast or crumpets for breakfast. There is NO better butter (slightly salted) in my opinion ,I'm only sorry that I can't order more because its sold out! [....]

Comments about Danish Lurpak Butter:

It's good butter. But I've found many craft butters right here in Wisconsin that compare. At [$]/pound for butter I'm expecting the "WOW factor". This is good butter but it's nothing special. The price is what precludes me from recommending this butter to others.
