Located in: Cheese, Canada
Brie has been made in Canada since the French colonization. This classic, tastebud-seducing cheese is always the first to disappear from the cheese plate. Perfected over the years, this brie easily stands up against its transatlantic cousin. Rich, supple and downright tasty.

Comments about Canadian Brie:

This is a very high quality product. It came wrapped in plastic and had its own cardboard box to protect it.

The brie itself was in great condition.

This brie tends to "melt" a little faster than most bries at room temperature (in my opinion). Which can be good or bad depending on your point of view.

This brie has a lot of great flavor. I recommend a good box of water crackers with this or some nice baked bread to go along with. You will be in for a treat!

Packs a lot more flavor than grocery store bries.

This may not be the best brie for the beginner due to its whole size and slightly more complex flavor. Although I havent tried the "French" brie yet from iGourmet.

Stores great! Even when cut. Just make sure you store it in your fridge and wrap it well.

This latest purchase was very disappointing. Numerous previous purchases were excellent. My family felt the cheese was old and dried out. Usually brie gets soft and creamy with age, this cheese did not.
