Very good on crackers with beer or ale as hors d'oeuvre or served after dinner on it's own as well.
Comments about Cotswold:
Great flavor. Very creamy. Chive and onion taste is very delicate; just strong enough.
Comments about Cotswold:
I ate this as a snack and to top burgers and it was great. I love the combination of flavors.
Comments about Cotswold:
For a semi firm cheese, this is the finest. Very sharp with pungent spring onions and chives. I have many favorite cheeses and this is certainly one of them!!!!
Comments about Cotswold:
Bought just a bit to try and once I'd tasted it was immediately disappointed - that I hadn't bought a whole lot more, that is. Everyone who's tasted it has had only good things to say about both the flavor and the texture. Will certainly buy more, maybe a whole wheel to share with friends, next time!
Comments about Cotswold:
Served this last night at a party--it was LOVED!!!
It was part of a cheese plate.
Suggestions: melt over brocolli, cauliflower, or potatoes

Even the picky eater in our house likes this cheese a lot. We used it for grilled cheese, appetizers and snacks. Wonderful quality and flavor!
Comments about Cotswold:
Really delicious cheese with a pronounced assertive flavor. I cut it up with crackers and finished the whole thing so I haven't tried it melted yet but I'm betting it's wonderful that way too.

Takes me back to my favorite pub
Excellent cheese

Great taste and tang -- I wish we could afford to eat it all the time. This is usually included in any order we make from here.

Comments about Cotswold:
This cheese works well by itself, with bread or crackers or on a sandwich. Despite what some have said, I find that it melts quite nicely on any hot food. I have not tried using it in a be'chamel.
Comments about Cotswold:
First time I tasted this cheese was at a good friends wine/soup party and I couldn't stay away from it. Now I know what my friends are getting for the holidays!
Comments about Cotswold:
This cheese has so many uses! Great in eggs, on a sandwich, on a cracker...
I prefer flavorful cheeses and this is one of them. Don't be afraid of the strong odor...it's bark is worse than its bite.
Comments about Cotswold:
THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THIS FIVE STARTS IS BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T LET ME GIVE IT A 10. FOR REAL NOTHING BEATS THIS. IF I WAS ON DEATH ROW THIS WOULD BE MY LAST MEAL. STRAIGHT UP ONE POUND OF COTSWOLD.
ON A SERIOUS NOT I HAVE YET TO MEET ANYONE WHO DOESNT FEEL THE SAME.
Comments about Cotswold:
I've tried quite a few English cheeses and this has to be in the running for my favorite. I had it in the pubs in England when we were there in May of this year.

Comments about Cotswold:
This cheese was described as being excellent with a dark stout, and I have to agree! I've been eating it with home-brewed Russian Imperial Stout, and it's a great combination. I've also made grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches with this cheese, and it works well that way too.
Comments about Cotswold:
I buy Cotswold often and it's one of my favorite cheeses. It's so good as a snack with some good wheat crackers. I can see why it's called a "Pub cheese", fantastic with a good imported beer.
Comments about Cotswold:
This is one of the tastiest cheeses that I've ordered [...]. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this cheese. It's got just the right consistency and flavor to go with a simple cracker . . . or just a great glass of white wine! I LOVE THIS CHEESE!!!!!!!
Comments about Cotswold:
I had this cheese at a friends house and fell in love with it. I love the strong flavor and pairing with fruit like apples and pears.
Comments about Cotswold:
One of my favorites cheeses!! It seems to go well with almost anything, especially ale or lager. Also it's great melted or cold on deli sandwiches. Everyone who has tried it likes it.

Met all my expectations as we had a similar product when we were in England this past summer.
Comments about Cotswold:
Double Gloucester and chives fantastic! Try it melted on a baked potato, you'll love it!
Comments about Cotswold:
This is a great tasting cheese and the
hint of the onion flavor is a plus.
My husband loves this cheese too. We
love sharp cheddar cheeses. This one
fits the bill. I haven't tried it on a burger yet, but plan to.
Comments about Cotswold:
This is a lovely, tangy cheese with the strong flavor of chives.
Comments about Cotswold:
I like this just sliced very thin on crackers. The mild chive taste comes through beautifully. One of my favorite cheeses.

Not at all what I expected. Out of the 4 friends that were over one said it was Just OK and he could eat it. He took it home and when he attempted to melt it to pour over a veggie dish it did not melt properly. Was just a goo!!!
