I first tried this cheese at a wine festival and never tasted anything like it! I wanted to buy some but they were sold out-I called and ordered some and picked it up at the warehouse. I WILL be purchasing this cheese again and have told others how delicious it is.

I took a flyer on this one and I am glad I did! Great cheddar flavor with some nice tangy sweetness from the onions. Great to eat on its own (room temperature, please) or melted on a sandwich. Beef is a particularly good companion to my taste.

This cheese is especially tasty alongside full-bodied lagers and pilsners. I rated this one a 4 because I had the pleasure of an aged version of it over last summer; otherwise it would have been an easy 5.

This is my new favorite cheese. It's fabulous. I have to say I haven't done anything with it yet besides eat it. I can say that to me it's best flavor is experienced at room temperature. It's semisoft and rich. This could definitely be a dessert cheese. I'm sure I'll do more with it, but at this point, simply savoring each delicious bite is enough.

This cheese is amazing and fun!! Probably not a good "date" or "romantic" cheese, the onions are strong but ooohhh so good! Also if you are tasting a variety of cheeses, definitely save this one for last.

I first thought this cheese was too strange and had an overwhelming flavor. But I tried it again and discovered that a little bit goes a long way. I originally bought this cheese on vacation and then had a lot of problems finding it in the San Francisco area. [...] This cheese makes the best grilled cheese sandwich you've ever had. I've also used it grated in several receipes calling for plain cheddar and everyone loved it. The onion flavor is fantastic, but not "pronounced". I usually don't care for cheeses with things added, and I love cheese. This is one wonderful exception.

This cheese moved immediately to the top of my list of favorites. It mingles the rich, sweet taste of carmelized onions with the sharpness of a good cheddar. I love it sliced fairly thin, with a dab of Chutney for Cheeses. It's also great sliced very thin on a piece of warm buttered toast.
