Originally purchased to use with a spread of German wines and cheeses. Guests wouldn't touch it because of the potent smell. Flavor was abrasive. Tried other uses with the leftovers (aka: All of it) but was too strong to be paired with anything successfully, even in a dish.

While I enjoyed the taste of this very strong cheese, it's aroma was so overpowering that I had to keep it seperated from other, more delicately flavored, cheeses as they picked up the smell, and some of the taste. I liked it on rye crackers with fruit and crumbles a little bit on a spinach/pear/ pecan salad and enjoyed it. Not sure I'd buy it again, but it was nice to try it.

I have never been a great fan of real stinky cheese, but this is a strong cheese with a smotth carrot flavor that has a GREAT taste! I have shared it with my co-workers and we all agree it was one of the best cheeses we have ever had.
