Recognized worldwide for its premium quality, DODONI Feta is made in Greece's Epirus region from a blend of pasteurized goat and sheep's milk. Flavorful and nutritious, with a pure white color and delicate scent, DODONI Feta has conquered the high end of the Greek feta market and has won numerous Greek and international awards.

In Greece, feta accompanies each meal, providing splendid flavor that pairs beautifully with lamb, poultry, beans, and rice. It is often served as a first course drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with oregano. It can also be used in salads, pies and omelettes. One traditional Greek dish, called 'saganaki' can also be made with feta. Protected by its PDO registration, this feta cannot be immitated.

If you want to experience the best feta cheese in the world, you have to try dodoni feta. It is well known all over the world that Dodoni feta is the best.

I am Greek myself, so I eat feta cheese every single day, and if I don't have any dodoni, I have to settle for something else, but nothing compares. They are either too salty, too dry, or just no taste at all. Dodoni has just the right amount of flavor, and is so perfect.

I make an amazing horiatiki salata (village salad) with dodoni, and it is divine.

Outstanding feta. It has none of the bitter taste associated with the usual supermarket brands, and is much more creamy.

This is top notch feta cheese. The flavor is lovely and though there is the hint of salt which is part of its flavor, it is nothing like dry, over-salty grocery store feta. It is creamy but firm and just a wonderful cheese in all sorts of salads in particular.

I dont like Feta, but this is PRIMO!!!

Creamy, Firm, Flavorful, Rich
Best Uses:
Grilled Chicken, Hors d'oeuvre, Salads, Steak

This Feta Cheeze is not found in local grocery markets. If you are not happy with your Feta cheese from the grocery store, I suggest buying this cheese. This is a definate buy that is WORTH the money! A restaurant in my town uses this cheese, which led me to igourmet's website because it is not found in stores. This cheese is GREAT paired with Grilled steak and chicken, and with rice. It is also good for Tomato and onion salads, and bruschetta. Fans of Feta cheese who have never tried this product will never buy a different brand again. I cannot wait until payday- I'm buying 2 pounds next time the first one went so fast! I can honestly say only good things about this cheese. IT IS A MUST BUY!

Recently a Greek friend and I spent three weeks traveling through the Peloponnese and then on to the island of Sifnos. I ate feta cheese pretty much every day. When I came home, I went to the igourmet.com site to order feta. I dare say their feta is the best yet. Naturally, I ordered more and will do so as soon as I run out.

The best feta in the U.S.
By PikawiccaVerified Reviewer from Bloomington, IN on 2/22/2007
Pros:
High Quality
Cons:
none
Best Uses:
Great on its own
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

After returning from a visit to Greece last summer, my daughter complained about the poor quality of feta available here in the U.S. I ordered some Dodoni for her and she was delighted. It's a wonderful feta, great for nibbling with olives, in a greek salad, or for cooking.
