Dry and salty with a rubbery texture.Definitely a goat cheese. The "jerky" of cheese.I'm still trying to like it!
Comments about Myzithra:
Very disappointed.
Comments about Myzithra:
I bought this product to make my families favorite, Myzithra and browned butter on pasta. This cheese grated perfectly, was flavorful and had the texture and melting quality I was looking for. Will buy again[...]
Comments about Myzithra:
I'm not sure if what I received was bad, but it really smelled like the inside of a cow barn, and tasted like I believe the inside of a cow barn would! I'm really not trying to be mean or funny, that is really my opinion.

Comments about Myzithra:
It taste a little like the cheese I get at the Spaghetti Factory, but it seems like the cheese might have something added to it that makes it a little bitter.
Comments about Myzithra:
Thought we'd try a boyhood delight Grandma's greek honey pie.
Comments about Myzithra:
Little known cheese with wonderful taste. Especially tasty served sparingly over pasta with only a touch of butter added. I was introduced to this cheese when dining out at the [@] in Denver, CO and fell in love with the taste immediately. My husband agrees wholeheartedly.

I bought this product after eating pasta with browned butter sauce and Myzithra at the Spaghetti Factory restaurant. Buying this product via [@] has allowed me to recreate this delicious dish at home.

Comments about Myzithra:
I love to add this cheese to spaghetti, like at the Old Spaghetti Factory, sorry if I spelled wrong. Could be a little dryer and richer with the flavor but overall it is one of the better store bought ones I have gotten.
Comments about Myzithra:
Best used grated on pasta. It's so smooth you can easily grate it and it makes the dish creamy, with a little saltiness. A great alternative to Parmesan cheese.
Comments about Myzithra:
This cheese reminds me of ricotta salata.

Comments about Myzithra:
I have never ordered cheese on the web before. [...] I grew up with the Spaghetti Factory's Browned butter and Myzithra cheese. There isn't one on the east coast but now I can make it at home!
Comments about Myzithra:
This cheese has a pleasant sheep's milk flavor, a bit salty. A dry texture. Can be eaten as is with a drizzle of olive oil. It would make a fine substitute for pecorino romano.
Comments about Myzithra:
Very good cheese

Comments about Myzithra:
I ordered this cheese after discovering that I couldn't get the Mizithra that the restaurant "The Spaghetti Factory" uses in their recipes. I was not disappointed and in fact, enjoy this true Myzithra even more. It's fantastic grated over spaghetti with brown butter, especially mixed with some grated parm. Great flavor - a little goes a long way!
Comments about Myzithra:
We first had this on top of spaghetti at a resturant. Very delicious, hard to pronounce.

The Spaghetti Factory (at least the one in Nashville, TN) has a version of this cheese that my family adores. It's nutty flavor can't be beat.
