Scottish Kings were crowned over the stone, because it was believed to have special powers. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!! This is the best cheese with Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil or Rosemary and Olive Oil Triscuits. We enjoy it as a snack -- with or without wine or beer. Very versatile cheese. I've introduced to others I know and everyone becomes addicted!!!
