Ardrahan is a glorious washed-rind, semi-soft cheese from the south of Ireland. It has a creamy, nutty palate similar to a Swiss Appenzeller. Ardrahan is made exlcusively on the Burns family farm in Duhallow - a County Cork town reputed for its clean environment and rich pastures. Ardrahan has won several awards, with judges repeatedly finding it a complex, flavorful, zesty cheese. We concur.

I am a very adventurous eater.Aside from snails (and that's only because I've stepped on too many of them to manage to put on in my mouth)I will try anything once! I opened this and it was so offensive I nearly gagged.I can't get past that smell enough to put it in my mouth.Sorry,it may taste great but I'll never know.
