This extraordinary cheese captures the taste of country mozzarella, fresh ricotta and delicate, earthy white truffles. From Il Forteto in Tuscany, this handmade cheese begins with a fresh mozzarella cheese pouch, which is filled with ricotta cheese and a dollop of fresh cream. Delicate white truffle shavings are also added for a delectable contrast. The pouch is then twisted and sealed. It's perfect with antipasto and as an unforgettable appetizer.

Tenerella is appropriate for your most distinguished guests or loved ones alike. We've also found it to be quite addictive.

It was good, but I thought the proportions were a bit off-- too much ricotta and not enough mozzarella. The truffle flavor is lovely though. I actually used a single purchase on two separate days-- the first night as an hors d'oeuvre, the second night I swirled the ricotta with some cavatelli. Very nice. Will repurchase.

This soft cheese, which arrives in its own bag and brine, is a sensual subtle treat. The outer 1/4 inch of the ball is slightly firmer than the center, and the delicate cloud of truffle builds in the mouth. Highly recommend. I've had friends eat it, get up from the table, and go straight to the computer to order some for themselves.
