I served this cheese to guests using the recommendations from the igourmet site. We had this truly splendid cheese with hard crusty italian bread and our favorite Pinot Grigio. It was absolutely wonderfu, and our guests could not believe the unique flavor and texture of this truly splendid cheese. I highly recommend it as an appetizer with your favorite Pinot.

I use this product primarily as an hors d'oeuvre or for stuffing panini, meats and making Italian frico (grated potato and cheese pancake).

We tasted this cheese recently at WDW/Epcot Wine&Food Festival at the igourmet booth SEVERAL TIMES! The 3 cheeses that were available were wonderful-and their selection is what led us to purchase them thru igourmet. The asiago was my favorite-creamy,tasty & a perfect introduction to gourmet cheeses.
Comments about Asiago Pressato:
This is the best cheese! First had it at the International Food & Wine tasting at Epcot...everyone who I have served it to since has loved it as much as we do. Excellent for a cozy snack with wine by the fire or on an appetizer tray with other cheeses and jams for holidays and get togethers...cant go wrong with this cheese for any occasion or purpose !

This is a cheese that is great alone, with crackers or on a sandwich. My husband does not love cheese like I do but he really enjoys this one.

Great melted on veggies or in a sandwich.

A very good as asiago cheese. I found it flavorful with out being too over powering.

The Asiago from I Gourmet is light years better than I can find in even our most gourmet of grocery stores.[...].

I was introduced to this cheese at an Italian deli in the Italian section of Providence, R.I.
many years ago as "table asigo". I think it is a great cheese.

Comments about Asiago Pressato:
This is a very good cheese, but this last batch tasted a little "bitter," the way cheese tastes when it starts to get old.

Great with roasted red peppers and olive oil as an appetizer for a hearty Italian meal or shredded in a salad of field greens and roma tomatoes.

Comments about Asiago Pressato:
This cheese melts fabulously. While I didn't make a mac 'n cheese or grilled cheese sandwich with it, it would be a decadent addition to either. We enjoyed this flash-fried after dipping in oil and fresh herbs, then spread over crusty bread.

I used it shredded to coat patties of greens before browning. The result was tasty and crusty. Very good.

Comments about Asiago Pressato:
Not usually a big fan of Asiago cheeses, as they are often quite dry. This one is wonderful; very creamy, and when melted, not greasy. Good also just sliced, especially with a tart, sliced apple and glass of Chardonnay.

Comments about Asiago Pressato:
good quality but I've had better. Their are many
good quality "caseifici" (cheese factories) in all of northern Italy and most produce good quality cheeses. Each have thier own distinct but very subtle taste. You've selected a good, but not great one.
