Hand selected by Mainland's Cheese Masters and set aside to age naturally for 24 months, this cheddar has strong piquant flavors with a hint of cream in the finish and a crumbly texture which can only be achieved with the finest of cheddars. Pair it with a dark ale, Port or red wine, served on the deck in the summer or in front of the fire when it's cold outside.

The cheese was wonderful, after we put it in the fridge, seeing as it arrived melted. After it firmed up it was delicious! Very sharp. After tasting it, we had a piece of regular sharp cheddar from the supermarket, and to our surprise, we couldn't taste anything! compared to the new zealand cheese, regular old cheese has no taste.
