Located in: Cheese, South America
Chile begins at the tail end of the South American continent, beneath the majestic Andes mountains. The Panquehue (pan-KAY-way) region is a fertile plain in the Aconcagua valley that is full of local aromas and flavors. This is where Panquehue, one of Chile's finest cheeses, is born. Although it is reminiscent of Tilsit, Panquehue has a character all its own. Available plain or flavored with mild red pepper or chives, this cheese is a must-have for the cheese fanatic. Varieties sold separately.
