My wife and I visited the Appenzeller cheese farm in Switzerland a couple of years ago, and witnessed how this stuff was made - in our opinion, Appenzeller cheese is the best we've ever tasted - good with a glass of wine!

This is one of the best swiss cheeses for everyone. It is pleasing and flavorful, comes from a traditional background and is very distinctive.

This is my all time favorite cheese. Goes very well with a robust full bodied wine. The Reserve is worth the higher price, but if you don't like your cheese too strong, regular Appenzeller might be for you. Tastes best at room temp.
