Here's a cheese that proves once and for all that not all great blue cheeses come from overseas. This award-winning, creamy blue cheese is made in Wisconsin from mostly Jersey cow's milk. It's homogenized, inoculated with a secret blend of cultures, hooped by hand, pierced, salted and cured for over two months. Its rich, buttermilk flavor makes this a great cheese for salads or for snacking. A truly exceptional blue!

Absolutely the best all around blue cheese I have ever had. If you're especially looking for a blue for a newcomer to blues, this is excellent. It has wonderful texture and the taste is just pungent enough. I agree with one of the reviewers that it should be cold when used for salad.

I've tried at least 30-40 varieties of blue cheese in the last few years trying to find that "ideal" blue that can stand on its own. This was absolutely lovely. Probably one of the three best blue cheeses I have ever tried for the cheese plate.

I am a blue cheese lover, and I will say that this is one of the top 3 (if not THE top) blue I have ever had. Now, that may be because this falls into MY preferences for a blue, but it is a winner regardless! Creamy and smooth, a bold, distinctive taste without overpowering, and a versatility that can't be beat - try this cheese! You will not regret it. Only hint - this is a creamy blue, and if you want to crumble it (say for a salad), do it while it is very cold.

A great find! I love blues, and have tried many. This is one of the best, and also most versatile I have come across. It has such a smooth, creamy texture! I melted it, put it on crackers and celery. So tasty! I love this cheese, and will be buying more in the future. My only wish is that it was a little cheaper, but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for! Buy it!
