Each Buche de Chevre is aged for two months, during which time it develops a hard, edible crust complete with a bloomy white mold coating. - Chaource: Made in a town with the same name since the early 14th century, Chaource is the most famous artisanal cheese from the Champagne region of France. This decadent cheese is delicious at any stage of ripeness and has a slight mushroom scent with a rich, creamy flavor. (8 oz)
- Abbaye de Belloc: This cheese has a fine, closed texture and is is rich with butter-fat. The lingering flavor, like caramelized brown sugar, is the result of six months of maturation. (8 oz)

Some wonderful cheeses that without the sale I would never have tried - all the cheese foodies loved it to. We all agree though, that at full price we could do better with the local cheese importers. Great Knife too!

This selection offers an amazing variety of everything I like when I eat cheese. The gruyere is nutty, the chaource is rich, spreadable, better than brie. These two are my favorites, but the whole selection is great.

I bought this for a French themed cocktail party and it certainly gives a lot of value for money. The chopping board is large, and there is so much cheese I had to invite people over that weekend to finish it off. My guests loved some of the cheeses, particularly the Gruyere de Comte, but barely touched the Forme d'Ambert AOC. They found the taste too overwhelming.While the site claims this serves 12-15 people, I had over 15 people at my party and there was a great deal of cheese left over so I would say this serves closer to 20-25.[...]

The cheeses were outstanding as usual. The board is very nice and I love the knife; it cuts cheeses without having them stick to the side of the knife as most often happens with other knives.
