Licorice Pastels are an old-fashioned candy that tastes as great today as it did when you were a kid. If you are not already familiar with Licorice Pastels, they consist of soft bite-sized chewy licorice covered in a thin sugar shell in pastel colors. For over 50 years, Marich has been making candies. Licorice Pastels are one of their classics.

Unlike the better-known licorice pastels that come in a purple box, the sugar shells on these are uniformly crisp. The sweet crunch combined with the chewy but light licorice flavor makes it hard to stop eating them. Fortunately, 12 oz is a lot!
