When Marinus van Dam was 15 years old, he began working in a candy factory in Holland. When he moved to California, he opened his own factory, Marich Confectionery Company, and has spent the last 53 years perfecting his craft. His passion for the art of confectionery has since been passed on to his two sons, Brad and Troy. They still make Marinus' classic candy, Holland mints, as a tribute to their Dutch heritage. These refreshing candies contain a creamy peppermint center dipped in dark chocolate and coated with a minty sugar shell. They are quite simply 'melt in your mouth' delicious!
