Annette Poulard's cooking was inspired by the richness and diversity of Mont Saint Michel Bay, between Brittany and Normandy; between land and sea; between tradition and creation.
The opening of Annette Poulard's inn at Mont Saint Michel marked the discovery of the Wonder of the West by modern tourism. Visitors from France and abroad described on their return the pleasures of Annette Poulard's excellent table and comfortable hotel, thus spreading her fame. The restaurant and hotel still maintain these traditions in Mont-Saint-Michel today.
From the Biscuiterie La Mere Poulard, we introduce their chocolate neopolitans. Small, bite-sized squares of rich chocolate. We offer Chocolate Noirs (dark chocolate) made from 70% cocoa with 8% cocoa beans. Chocolate au Lait (Milk Chocolate) contains 33% cocoa. Whether you prefer dark or milk, these individually wrapped chocolates are wonderful served with coffee, or eaten anytime you need a little nibble of chocolate throughout the day.
