Annette Poulard is famous for founding L'Auberge de la Mère Poulard in 1888. She discovered the secret of eternal youth in her love for Mont Saint Michel and her passion for the culinary arts. She was inspired by the richness and diversity of Mont Saint Michel Bay, between Brittany and Normandy, between land and sea, between tradition and creation. Biscuiterie La Mere Poulard has chosen plump, crunchy almonds and generously coated them with rich cocoa powder. Each individually packaged almond is a pure delight. Have some with a cup of coffee or as a snack anytime of the day.

Comments about Poulardises Amandes Cacaotées (Cocoa Coated Almonds):

These almonds are individually wrapped, which may come in handy for some uses. We bought them to enjoy with our after-dinner espresso, after enjoying similar almonds in Paris. These are quite good, but recently we tried the Piedras de Espana almonds also sold here on [...], and we think those are even better, because they are larger and crunchier.

Good but not what I was looking for...

Comments about Poulardises Amandes Cacaotées (Cocoa Coated Almonds):

I was trying to find what my husband and I had just had at an Austrian restaurant in NYC--cocoa-dusted almonds. What I didn't realize about these were that, in addition to the cocoa, they had an inner layer of milk chocolate. Though these were good (I will eat several in one sitting), I much prefer the less-sweet version at the restaurant.

Comments about Poulardises Amandes Cacaotées (Cocoa Coated Almonds):

These chocolate covered almonds are superb. The individual wrapping makes you feel special opening each one but you can not eat just one. These are so so so addicting you can not stop eating them until they are gone.
