These traditional handmade cookies from Sicily were a highlight of our recent trip to the region, and one taste is enough to transport us back there momentarily. Pasticceria Sua Maesta go to extraordinary lengths to ensure only the highest quality ingredients are used to create their delectable delicacies. Stylish packaging ensures this will be a well received gift even before the recipient tastes the treats inside. Whilst all three boxes use the traditional almond recipe as the base, all contain varieties on the classic theme.

These were addictive. So delicious and chewy and almondy and sweet...do you pick up on the fact I loved them? Worth every penny.

I bought the Classiche for our family and the Cioccolata for a gift. The Cioccolata box was much smaller, but still a decent size for a gift. The pastries have a very strong bitter almond taste, so if you like that, this is for you. They are also very filling and rich.

These were great. The only way they could have been better was to head to the Italian bakery and catch them coming out of the oven.
