Has a 'grown up' taste, not yucky sweet, just rich, deep chocolate flavor. The spicy taste is just barely evident, not over the top. I take out about a tablespoon and put it in a small custard cup and microwave it just long enough so it melts. I drizzle it over ice cream. Would go equally well over cake and pie. I would buy it again.

I use this to add an extra richness to my chicken mole dishes, but it's also good as a dessert topping if you whip it 50% cream cheese, 20% sour cream, and 30% chocolate sauce to ice a cake or muffins.

Tastes just like a basic chocolate sauce. A good chocolate sauce. But there is nothing special about it. No chipotle or cayenne was evident.
