Since 1922, Valrhona has used traditional methods to create exceptional chocolates from cocoa beans of different origins - each with specific aromas - in its factory located in Tain l'Hermitage in the Rhone Valley. Now available in the United States, Valrhona's delicious truffles and bonbons, handcrafted in Tain, were previously found only at its factory boutiques and in the finest European hotels, confectionary, and gourmet shops. Distinguished by original designs, traditional shapes, and unparalleled quality, Valrhona has emerged as a leader in artisan chocolates.

Each gift box contains 20 chocolates in six different styles:

Ganache Thé Jasmine: Ganache flavored with jasmine Chinese green tea. Dark chocolate coating is decorated with a transfer of tea leaves. Very light and floral.
Palet Argent: “Creole” ganache with both dark and milk chocolate. Coated in milk chocolate and adorned with silver leaf. Smooth and milky on the palate.
Palet Or: Gananche made from Grand Cru Guanaja 70%. Coated in dark chocolate and decorated with gold leaf. This bonbon ends with a powerful and lasting finish.
Carafrutti Abricot: Milk Grand Cru Guanaja 41% gananche and caramelized apricot pulp. Coated in dark chocolate, with fruit and caramel notes on the tongue. Exceptionally creamy texture.
Pralifeuilletta Lait: Almond praline mixed with crisp crepe dentelle. Coated in luscious milk chocolate.
Mille Feuilles: Ganache flavored with Bourbon vanilla bean extract, layered over Gianduja milk chocolate with crispy crushed crépe dentelle fragments. Finished with a coating of white chocolate, creating a contrast of crispy and creamy textures.

These are the perfect gift for the cosumate chocoholic! The flavors are incredible. You just want to take your time and savor each delicious bite. These truffles were on sale when I bought them for half price. What a bargain!

Bought this as a Valentine gift for my husband. He shared them with me! The gift box is a bit drab looking but ok for gifting to a guy, not too frilly. There was a lot of cholate inside, two layers. We have enjoyed the rich, strong flavors of these truffles. Send them to someone special!

The chocolates were delicious. However, instead of coming in a standard sturdy chocolate box, they came in a flimsy light cardboard one which did not say "Valrhona" anywhere that was visible (it was stated on the bottom on the nutrition information label), and no flavor identification key was included. The flimsiness of the box resulted in a few of the chocolates being damaged, i.e. the chocolate coating had flaked off in pieces, exposing the filling. Since the chocolates were a gift for someone, this was extremely embarrassing as it made me seem cheap. I thought I was getting high quality Valrhona chocolates, and although they were tasty, the presentation made them seem like low quality generic chocolates.
