Buchanan's of Scotland is the largest manufacturer of confectionery in Scotland and boasts the finest quality confections available. Based in Greenock, they product over 50 lines of homemade confectionary, but their traditional Clotted Cream Fudge is an English favorite. If you're expecting a dense, chocolatey fudge, however, be warned that American fudge has little resemblance to its Scottish counterpart. With the dense, rich texture of fudge, this confection boasts a sweet, milk caramel flavor somewhat similar to a praline without pecans. The addition of clotted cream adds a milky, silken note to this extremely sweet and satisfying Scottish treat.

This product tasted old and had little flavor other than sugar. One would be better off making fudge at home, even easy fudge with marshmallow creme.
