No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I guess I'm spoiled. I am used to getting graded beans of a uniform size. The result of a uniform bean is that they are they are all roasted to a uniform color. This coffee contained large beans, small beans, and even fragments. The small being roasted darker than the large. Some size difference is OK, but no great coffee has as many fragments as this coffee has.
