Three outstanding coffees comprise this dark roast: Kenya AA, Colombian Supremo and Java Estate. Select Colombian Supreme is the anchor for the blend. It is an extremely well-balanced coffee with its medium to full body, rich flavor and medium acidity. Additional fine character and complexity are provided by the highly prized Kenya AA, with its winey flavor, medium to full body, high acidity, and very distinctive flavor. The addition of a select Java Estate coffee finishes and rounds out this robust blend. These Javas have exceptionally full body, are rich in flavor and are extremely smooth with a slight smokey flavor and a hint of spice. “Dark Velvet” makes a truly outstanding, everyday house blend that is not overpowering and provides a greatly satisfying coffee experience to people of all levels of coffee appreciation. Kobrick's dark roast coffees are skillfully brought to peak level, illuminating the rich, mellow dark tones, but never "burning" the coffee. Varieties sold separately.
