The Irving Farm Coffee Company is located on a farm 90 miles from New York City ,within the Hudson valley region of upstate New York. The farm sits in a serene, rural community at the foothills of both the Berkshire and Catskill Mountain ranges. All of their coffee is roasted in an early 19th century carriage house that has been converted into a modern roasting facility. Coffee beans from small estate farms around the world are shipped and stored in a climate-controlled environment, then carefully roasted to perfection. Each coffee selected by Irving Farm has gone through extensive study and cupping to determine its finest roast profile. We found this excellent coffee company when visiting their New York City café, which has now become a regular stopping point whenever we need a jolt while walking around the city. The Irving Farm French Roast espresso, one of our favorite "wake-me-up" drinks, is a full-bodied coffee with a complex blend of Guatemalan Antigua, Brazilian Santos, Indonesian Sumatra Mandheling and Java beans.
