Schokinag's European Drinking Chocolate line was created in the style of traditional European chocolate drinks of the 17th century. Made with tiny bits of real chocolate and prepared with milk rather than water, you will wonder why you ever drank any other instant hot chocolate. Schokinag's European Drinking Chocolates are available in four flavors:
  • Dulce de Leche - Inspired by the creamy caramel and milk confection popular in South America, this Dulce de Leche drinking chocolate is made only with real bits of white chocolate and natural caramel. Just scoop some into a mug with a bit of hot milk, stir into a delicious syrup, then add the rest of the hot milk and stir again. Rich and velvety, but not too sweet. This is how hot chocolate was meant to be.
  • Chocolate Mocha - One of the best loved flavor combinations the world over - chocolate and coffee - is taken to new heights with this chocolate lover's version of the traditional chocolate mocha made with milk chocolate, white chocolate, and coffee. Just scoop some into a mug with a bit of hot milk, stir into a chocolaty syrup, then add the rest of the hot milk and stir again. Rich and velvety, but not too sweet. This is a wonderful treat for any chocolate and coffee lover.
  • Triple Chocolate - These tiny dark and milk chocolate morsels create hot chocolate that no cocoa powder can match. Just scoop some into a mug with a bit of hot milk, stir into a chocolaty syrup, then add the rest of the hot milk and stir again. Rich and velvety, but not too sweet. This is how hot chocolate was meant to be. In fact, hot chocolate and drinking chocolate like this date back to ancient cultures in Mexico and South America where only royalty were allowed to enjoy it.
  • Moroccan Spice - Introduced at the Summer 2005 Fancy Food show, this drink hails back to the Aztecs when chocolate and spices were a common combination.

  • Certified Kosher.
  • Varieties sold separately.

Comments about Schokinag Flavored Drinking Chocolate:

I was kind of disappointed with this hot chocolate. I have been to Europe and had their chocolate and it was wonderful! (much better than any chocoloate you would get here in the US) I kind of expected this to be more like the European chocolate I had over there but it tastes nothing like that. It is still pretty good but not as sweet as I expected it to be.
