Tazo Green Ginger is a soothing blend of green tea with hints of ginger and pear. It is described as being in balance with nature. Excellent served with Asian cuisine, or with any spicy dish. This tea is quite refreshing.

Tazo was created for one purpose: to reinvent tea and the tea experience. Tazo's experienced and creative tea masters use only premium quality ingredients, yielding teas that are bold and extremely flavorful. In addition, Tazo uses 30% to 40% more tea per filterbag than other brands, filling even the largest cup with unique and distinctive flavors and aromas. Tazo also uses no "dust" (tiny tea leaf particles) to fill its filterbags - just broken leaf pieces and fannings.

The name Tazo has roots in many civilizations, meaning "river of life" in the Romany Gypsy language and spoken as a toast to life by ancient Greeks. Tazo also means "fresh" in several Hindi dialects. In ancient Babylonia, Tazo was a rejuvenating elixir thought to have magical properties. In modern society, Tazo stands for an exotic array of teas with imaginative, inviting flavors.

I had really high expectaions of this tea because I love the taste of Ginger. It was not as spicy and sweet as I had hoped. The flavor was a little on the weak side without the tingle of ginger I expected. It smelled awesome but needed more zing.

Tazo Green Ginger Tea is great. It is soothing and has a unique ginger and green tea flavor. It also seems to have anti inflammatory qualities.
In the past year most stores no longer carry it. Perhaps there was an item inventory number that changed and caused it not to be picked up by automated inventory systems.
