Comments about East India Tea Company - Darjeeling:
This tea perfectly exemplifies what sets Darjeeling apart from other black teas. It's full-bodied and strong, but with a delicate floral (yet not too flowery) aroma. It does brew up very strong, so if you drink it unembellished as I do the maximum steep time to avoid excessive bitterness is about 2 minutes. Even if you do let it steep too long, it isn't overly acidic. I can only imagine what divine iced tea this would make; I'm tempted, but it's too precious to use several teabags at once. If you've been enchanted by Darjeeling in the past, you will love this tea. If you haven't tried Darjeeling before, think of it as a teabag that brews a real cup of the tea experience - not just slightly flavored hot water.
