Imagine evenings in warm, sunny Spain, relaxing outside a café with a refreshing glass of beer or a fruity glass of Rioja, and simply basking in its atmosphere. One of our favorite pastimes in Spain is just this and the tapas that comes with each drink. These small snacks are always different, delicious and taste just right. This “Little Bit of Spain” will encourage you to get some beers or Spanish wine, stoke up the fire, invite some friends over, and enjoy some of the pleasures of Spain. Included:
  • Jamon Serrano is a cured Spanish ham from the famed white pig. It is salted, hung in cool conditions, and cured for fifteen months, giving it a superior and complex taste. Pre-sliced. (3.5 oz.)
  • Manchego the most popular Spanish cheese. It is made in the interior of the country from 100% sheep's milk. (8 oz.)
  • Murcia al Vino Similar to the Spanish wine cheese, Drunken Goat, this wine-bathed cheese is made from pasteurized goat's milk in Murcia region of Spain. (8 oz)
  • Mahon is a cheddary cow's milk cheese from the Mediterranean island of Menorca in the Balearics. (8 oz.)
  • El Serpis Anchovy Stuffed Olives: Juicy stuffed olives from Andalucia. (1.79 oz.)
  • Marcona Almonds are an essential element of the traditional Tapas course. (4 oz.)
  • Chorizo by Palacios: Finally, Americans can enjoy one of the true culinary treasures of Spain! Chorizo is excellent in stews, potages, omelets, paellas, or served as part of a tapas. (7.9 oz)

Comments about A Little Bit of Spain:

This "little bit of Spain" was great! Gave a great cross section of favors (the cheeses are an especially great selection, from mild to strong Ibores). The only thing that I would want more of was the Serrano ham. The flavor is amazing! Im going to have a hard time eating anything else, but there was just not enough of it in relation to the rest of the package. But other then that... Heaven

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my GodMother... the Gourmet Kitchen Goddess! Knowing my God Mom I knew I'd get an honest opinion on how good or bad it was... I must tell you that she gave rave reviews saying it was fantastic and she was quite impressed.

She is one of the most important people in my life and making her Christmas special was high on my priority list.

Thank you for helping me to make her Christmas a more special.
