TartufLanghe, founded in 1968 by Domenica Bertolusso and Beppe Montanaro, is situated in the Langhe, a beautiful region at the base of the Italian Alps in southern Piedmont. Much of the world's white truffle harvest comes from this region - the Land of Precious Bounty. The Langhe region is also known for spectacular wines and great cheeses. Their Truffled Grissini breadsticks are a delicious specialty. Ideal served with all kinds of Italian cheeses, salamis and hams, Grissini are traditionally served before the meal with the antipasto. Enjoy these unique breadsticks with the added flavor and aroma of the rare white truffle.

They're great for dipping in a Pesto sauce.
I keep them in the cookie jar for "quick grabbing" and they stay fresh and crunchy in there.

Tasted better than they looked.
By Gina from Miami, FL on 3/2/2007
Pros:
Flavorful, Nice shape, Non Perishable
Cons:
A lot of them were broken, Bulky Packaging
Best Uses:
Snack, With a cheese course
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These breadsticks tasted good, you could smell and taste the truffle, BUT...many of them were broken. I was using them for a cheese course and I like to stand breadstick upright in a tall, pretty glass. Also, if they were not on sale, I would not spend the money for broken grissini.

At this price, they make great (I am soooo cool) salad croutons. Too bad that shipping breaks them up.

By pintofaleVerified Reviewer from Lakewood, CA on 2/22/2007
Pros:
None
Cons:
Bad Value, Expensive, Low Quality
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

[...] these breadsticks are [...] nothing more than crackers with a slight hint of truffle. In fact, the truffleness could have been a small amount of garlic flavor and not truffle.
